Warland Fair

Recognisable with its grand castle wall, Warland Farm sits just to the north of the Summit Pound, nestling between the canal and the moor and straddling the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire. Each year it hosts a local fair, where the famous Rush Cart is decorated and prepared for its procession into Littleborough.

The Rally will celebrate its last night with dancers, musicians, performers and artists as we gather together to kick off the weekends festivities. Food, a fire and music will be provided, just bring your drinks and your crew.

The Rally ends here, but those who want to can join us as we head back to Littleborough, along with the musicians and dancers, to take our place at the main Rush-bearing Festivities. That evening the boat crew are invited to join the organisers of the festival, and the visiting dance troupes and musicians in a grand Ceilidh (entrance and food free for Rally members).
